Cusat CAT - Online Registration from Jan 15

Application have been invited by Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT) from eligible candidates for admission to various programmes.  Admissions are based on Common Admission Test (CAT)/Departmental Admission Test (DAT)/Test for Lateral Entry (LET).  Those who are applying for First Degree Programmes in Engineering & Technology (B Tech & 5 year integrated MSc in Photonics): the CAT will conduct on All India basis with test centres in Delhi, Kolkatta, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jamshedpur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Varanasi, Kota and all District Head Quarters of Kerala.
Thos who are applying for PG programmes/First Degree programmes including BBA -  LLB and PG Programmes: The CAT will be conducted only in  Kerala.
Lateral Entry Test will be conducted only at Kochi Centre
DATs are conducted at Kochi by individual Departmetns/Schools/Centres of the University .

First Degree Programmes:

• B Tech in Civil Eng, Computer Science & Engg, Electrial & Electronics Eng, Electronics & communication Eng, Information Techology, Mechanical Engineering and Fire Safety Engineering (All Self financing)
• B Tech in Polymer Science & Engineering
• Five Year Integrated M Sc in Photonics

Eligibility: Pass in Plus Two with 50% marks in Maths and 50% marks in Maths, Physics & Chemistry

•  B Tech in Instrumentation Technology: Pass in Plus Two with 60% marks in Maths, Physics & Chemistry and 55% in Maths separately
• B Tech in Marine Engineering (Residential Programme): Pass in Plus Two with 60% marks in  Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English and 50% for Maths abnd 50% for English separately and age limit 25 years as on 1st September.
• B Tech in Naval Architecture & Ship Building: Pass in Plus Two with 50% in Maths as well as for Maths, Physics and Chemistry
• 5 year BBA LLB (Cost sharing course): Pass in Plus Two with 60% marks in Science/Commerce group or 55% in Arts/Humanities and should have completed 20years of age on July 1st.

LL M: Bachelor's degree in Law with at least 45% marks.
M A Hindi Language & Literature: B A/BSc in any subject with 50% marks
M A Translation (German/Russian): Degree of any recognised University & Diploma level knowledge in the language concerned.
M B A (Travel & Tourism): B A with minimum 50% marks
MBA (International business): B A with minimum 50% marks
M A Applied Economics: B A Economics with 55% in Part III or 60% with B Com, 65% marks in Maths or Statistics
MCA: Any graduate with MAthsor graduate in Electronics/Computer Science/Computer Applications/Engg/Technology with 55% marks
M Sc Applied Chemistry: B Sc with Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry
M Sc Biotechnology
M Sc Electronic Science etc etc

Fee Details: Rs 850/- for general/375/- for SC/ST , Rs 5850 under NRI quota

Mode of payment:
For online registration: chalan to be downloaded and payment through SBI or SBT
others: by DD through SBI/SBT in favour of Registrar, Cusat payable at Eranakulam
